Mechelle's Way Tae Kwondo was chosen for the 2022 Best of Schenectady Award, and this is the 11th Year In Row!. It was also recently inducted into the Schenectady Business Hall of Fame! 

Master Mechelle Smith recently was one of three inductees chosen from a field of 190 applicants for the 2017 Schenectady Athletic Hall of Fame. Her hall of fame bust was placed at Schenectady High (Linton High School) and a display of her accomplishments is in a display case at the high school.

2022 Best of Schenectady Award for the 11th Year in a Row!

SCHENECTADY November 9, 2012 / 2013/2014--2018 Mechelle's Way Taekwondo has been selected for the 2022 Best of Schenectady Award in the Martial Arts Instruction category by the Schenectady Award Program.

Each year, the Schenectady Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Schenectady area a great place to live, work and play.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2022 Schenectady Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Schenectady Award Program and data provided by third parties.
